Saturday July 5, 2008 - Positively Main Street Bike Show & Festival

- All day art, music and food festival. Highlights include 2 pm car and Motorcycle Show.  Food vendors will participate in a Taste of Buffalo-style, "Best of" contest. Talent Show, activities for children such as a petting zoo and pony rides,  Primate Sanctuary, Bird Sanctuary, Bounce House Dunk, Tank Costumed Characters And much more.

Event is 10am to 10pm on Main Street in Niagara Falls, New York. Event is only 5 blocks from Niagara Falls. Saturday July 26, 2008 - Bike Ride for Heart Transplant

- Organizers invite motorcycle enthusiasts to take to the road to raise funds for heart failure and transplant patients in western New York.  The event is being held in memory of LeeAnne Orzechowski, formally of Lackawanna. Family friend and West Seneca resident Gina Nelligan, whose daughter, Jennifer Lind, was best friends with LeeAnne, is coordinating the fundraiser.

The ride will begin at 1 p.m. at the Blue Wall Bar, 2720 Seneca St., West Seneca, NY. The group will head to the Milestone in Chaffee for a light snack, then will ride back to the Blue Wall for a buffet dinner and drinks, as well as live music by the band “All Jacked Up.” It is a 90-mile roundtrip.

Tickets are $30 per person. Tickets will be sold in advance and also the day of the event. Proceeds will benefit such patients through the hospital’s Patient Care fund, which provides emergency funding for patients and families and may someday be used to develop a hospitality house for adult critical care patients and their families.
